Below are home states of 19 college proffesors. Make a frequency table using these five states. and a pie char?
For the frequency table you just have to put the state, say one of them is Maine. Then find how many professors on the list of 19 lived in Maine. If say there are five of them, then you would just put a five for Maine. If 4 were from California, then California would have 4. You would do the same for the other four states. For the pie chart, start with the same data above you just got. You then have to find the total number of professors are from the five states. Say there are a total of ten professors who lived in the five states. And five of them are in Maine. Then take 5/10. This reduces to 1/2, so one half of your pie chart is going to be Maine. 4/10 would be from Cali, so 2/5 of your graph would be Cali. You have to do this for the other three states.
